This tutorial illustrates the potential of using machine embroidery as a tool worthy of even a master couturier.
Cutting out dozens of identical pieces is done quickly and easily when layers of fabrics are stitched all at once in the hoop using the template designs. The flower petals are attached to the project fabric using the flower center designs. Reverse appliqué is used to accent the wing portions of the embroidered butterflies and dragonfly.
