Pam Mahshie of Baby Lock is modeling the really "green" vest. (This vest is green because it's made with fabric scraps from three different weddings, a salvaged mohair scarf and buttons found under a cushion!) Baby Lock's Embellisher needle felted the scraps together to form whole cloth which was then embroidered with Little Bird Scroll designs and Sashiko stitched gold cording. I've got to say, this vest looks really good on Pam...but then, a sack would too!

Pam Mahshie of Baby Lock models during the fashion school at the Martha Pullen School of Art Fashion. She made a lovely model! She's wearing a Sashiko pleated collar and cuff jacket embroidered with Elegant Roses. This new Sashiko machine by Baby Lock is WAY too cool!

It snowed in SC! More than a flurry too! We hurried out to take photos the next day before it melted. It was strange new world. This poor fellow had a very unusual hat, don't you think?

Look what Lydia Maria (my dear and very talented daughter-in-law) has made! An adorable little dress for a little friend of hers! She even lined this dress...and the pattern didn't call for lining either! Child of my heart, that's for sure :-)

We have been adopted by a little black cat with bright green eyes! For three weeks we've tried to find the owner as the cat arrived with a tag. Unfortunately the owner does not return the phone calls. So it looks like KitKat has found a new home. I think she may be pregnant. Yikes! Anyone want a kitten?
