These petite, lined purses are perfect for wee girly girls! It's easy to personalize the flaps with monograms or little embroidery designs of your choice. Each purse flap is created in the hoop and then added to the purse with very easy, simple steps on your sewing machine. The pattern includes six different flap designs, one each with a buttonhole closure and one each with a hook and loop tape closure. The hook part of the closure is applied in the hoop as well and is hidden under the flap. Of course you may choose to skip the buttonhole or hook and loop tape and sew on a snap or a ribbon tie! Soft and Stable www.byAnnie.com provides the soft sturdiness of the purses and is very easy to sew and embroider with. Package strapping, covered by ribbon or fabric makes great handles! (See the holiday purse examples below.) Covered cord, purchased home decor cord or ribbons also make good handles. The instructions are step-by-step with lots of photos for you to follow. They include how to cover cord or package strapping to make handles and how to add embroidery designs of your choice to the flaps.
Each flap is approximately 3.9" x 3.9" in size with an approximate stitch count of 3,500. These designs will fit in most 4x4 hoops. The finished purse is about 5" x 5" in size.
Please note - The embroidery designs shown on the flaps are not included. Click on the "related items" links below to view the design sets they originated from.
