Sweet and simple, these bean stitched (triple stitched) outline motifs are perfect for decorating all kinds of projects. You can use them as raw-edged appliques by applying felt, faux suede, fabric paper or other non-raveling materials with the motif stitching. All motifs include a single running outline stitch and then a tack-down stitch in the bean stitching for this application. Or, you can skip the outline and go straight to the bean stitching for simple, easy motifs. There are 29 motifs in this set. Each one is about 2.5" to 3.5" wide and 2.5" to 3.8" tall. The burp cloths shown below are stitched on double gauze using wash-away stabilizer. Find out how to make them on the Stitch Bits blog post "Double Delight - Double Gauze."
